All About Us

Sweet Beginnings Bakery is a family owned business which opened in 2005 by husband and wife team Darren and Jamie Wells.  Both Darren and Jamie were born and raised in the Kenmore, Town of Tonawanda area; where they graduated from Kenmore West Senior High School.  
Jamie is a graduate of Alfred State College holding a dual degree in the Culinary Arts and Baking Management Program.  Darren is a graduate of Erie Community College Culinary Arts Program with a concentration in Baking.
Having worked over 25+ years, both have an extensive background in the Culinary Arts and Baking Industry. 
Darren and Jamie had a long-time dream of opening a Bakery.  Along with their two children Madison and Nathan; they hope to continue to bring a SWEET joy to each and every one of their customers lives for many continued years to come.
